BROOKLYN — A former teacher’s aide at a Bedford-Stuyvesant elementary school who was busted  last month for possessing lewd pictures of children has been re-arrested for producing kiddie porn in a classroom, the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced Tuesday.

Taleek Brooks, 40, worked as a teacher’s aide at P.S. 243, The Weeksville School on Dean Street and Troy Avenue — and was an after-school volunteer with the Madison Square Boys and Girls Club.

The suspect was arrested Monday night for the second time in three weeks after an FBI examination of computer equipment seized from his bedroom revealed self-produced child pornography made between January 2008 and January 2011, prosecutors said. Brooks was originally charged with for downloading and sharing child pornography.

Among the videos and images that Brooks is suspected of producing is a video of Brooks touching a child’s genitals and another of him spanking a naked child, officials said. "Both incidents appeared to have occurred in a school classroom," FBI officials said in a statement.

It’s not immediately clear if the victims in the videos had been identified.

On Jan. 13, FBI special agents searched the defendant’s residence in Brooklyn, seizing a computer and two external hard drives.

Brooks allegedly admitted to agents that he has been using a file-sharing program to download and share child pornography for about seven years, and that he has collected and saved more than 1,000 digital files containing child pornography, federal officials said.

If convicted of possession of child pornography, Brooks faces a maximum sentence of 10 years behind bars. If convicted of distribution of child pornography, he faces a mandatory minimum sentence of five years.

And if he is convicted of producing child pornography, he faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years.
