THE BRONX — Police have arrested a city employee on hate crime charges for hanging a black baby doll from a makeshift noose at a Parks Department facility in Riverdale last month, NYPD officials said Thursday.

Fariz Ahmemulic, 28, was charged with aggravated harassment as a hate crime in the Dec. 20 incident after reportedly making incriminating statements that his colleagues overheard, police said.

The black doll was discovered hanging by its neck from a chain inside the department's Bronx headquarters at 1 Bronx River Parkway, police said.

The doll was discovered near an area where an African American employee works, and three KKKs were also found scratched in a bathroom, NY1 reported
