Fire Erupts in 55th Street Building

MANHATTAN — A fire broke out in a Midtown building Saturday afternoon, fire officials said.

The blaze erupted at 204 W. 55, near Seventh Avenue, just before 5 p.m., according to the FDNY.

There were no immediate reports of injuries and the fire was placed under control about an hour later.
