HELL'S KITCHEN — A woman was struck by a car Friday afternoon while crossing at the intersection West 55th Street and Eighth Avenue, authorities said.
The unidentified victim was transported to Harlem Hospital with unknown injuries after the incident occurred about 3:10 p.m., fire officials said.
"There is always a lot of traffic," said Stanley Epstein, 81, whose apartment overlooks the busy intersection, which counts multiple construction projects.
"Cars are aggressive," he added. "People are aggressive."
