Police Search for Missing East Village Man

MANHATTAN — Police are searching for a man who went missing from his East Village home earlier this month.

Robert Arroyo, 46, was last seen leaving his East 10th Street home on Fri., Oct. 7, about 3 p.m., the NYPD said.

Police described Arroyo as standing 5-foot-5, weighing 230 pounds, with black hair and green eyes.

He has been known to frequent the Staten Island Ferry and Coney Island, police noted.

Anyone with information in regard to his whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).  The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM, or by texting tips to 274637 (CRIMES), then enter TIP577.
