HELL'S KITCHEN — The facade of a Japanese restaurant collapsed in Hell's Kitchen Wednesday, shedding tiles across West 55th Street.
Dozens of tiles fell off the front of the East Japanese Restaurant at 253 West 55th Street.
The debris left a section of West 55th Street closed.
An FDNY spokesman said the tiles fell at 9:12 a.m. Nobody was hurt.
The street was reopened about an hour after the incident.
