MURRAY HILL — Police are looking for a suspect who robbed a woman at gunpoint in a commerical building in Murray Hill Monday night.

A man clad in a dark-colored zip-up hooded sweatshirt, winter ski cap and black sunglasses entered a commercial building at 9:24 p.m. at 360 Park Avenue and then proceeded to the basement, where he waited for an employee, according to the NYPD. Police did not confirm the name of the business.

Once in the basement, the suspect pointed a silver handgun at the woman and demanded she open the safe. He then fled with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.

No injuries were reported.

Surveillance video in the basement captured the alleged intruder, who is described as 200-pound man about 5'8" in his early- to mid-30s. In the video, the man is seen wearing gloves and leaving with a black shoulder bag.

Photographs also show the suspect talking on a cellphone and carrying a pad of paper.

Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
