By Serena Solomon | August 16, 2011 2:59pm

MIDTOWN — The NYPD released a video of five suspects who allegedly pistol whipped a woman and forced their way into her Inwood home.

The footage shows the men, who police believe are of Dominican descent, exiting the foyer of the Cooper Street building where the robbery occurred.

One suspect allegedly posed as a food delivery person at around 10:30 p.m on Sunday Aug. 7th,  allowing another suspect to gain access to the apartment. The woman was taken to a bedroom and struck on the head with a gun before money, a cell phone and a purse were taken.

Three of the suspects waited in the hallway outside the apartment while the assault and robbery occurred.

The woman suffered a cut to the head and at least one shot was fired, but the bullet hit no one, police added.

All suspects are believed to be in their 20s and male.
