UPPER WEST SIDE — A body was pulled from the Hudson River Wednesday night, authorities said.

The man's body was recovered near the esplanade at West 79th Street, by the popular Boat Basin Cafè, police and fire officials said.

Emergency crews received a call at 7:09 p.m. after the body was seen floating in the river between West 86th and 87th streets, police said.

The man was believed to be in his 30s or 40s, police said. No additional details were available.

The city's medical examiner will determine cause of death, police said.
