Man Filmed Fighting With Police in Greenwich Village

GREENWICH VILLAGE — A man was filmed scuffling with police before sprinting off as officers tried to arrest him in Greenwich Village early Sunday.

Security footage captures the man fighting with two officers in front of 114 Christopher St. at 4:44 a.m.

The man, described as black or Hispanic and between 20 and 25, is seen being wrestled to the ground twice before wriggling free. He ran southbound on Hudson Street.

The suspect was last seen wearing a white tank top and blue jeans.
