The alleged thief was unsuccessful during his first heist about 2:15 p.m. on June 17, when he entered a Chase at Park Avenue near 33rd street and demanded cash, according to the NYPD.

He pretended to have a gun, but the teller refused to hand over the money and he fled empty-handed, police said.

The next day, the suspect allegedly struck again, holding up the Citibank at 4 Columbus Circle about 12:40 p.m., according to the NYPD. This time he was successful, making off with an unknown amount of cash, police said.

He allegedly robbed the Capital One bank at 21 University Pl. 10 days later, according to cops.

The suspect is described as between 40 and 45 years old, standing between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-9, with a medium build.
