MANHATTAN — NJ Transit and Amtrak Trains were facing up to 1 hour delays Thursday Morning after a power outage temporarily suspended train service along the Northeast Corridor, officials said.
NJ Transit trains on the Northeast Corridor and North Jersey Coast were suspended starting around 7:30 a.m. Thursday. Amtrak trains were also suspended, but service was restored around 8:15 a.m., the company wrote on Twitter.

Amtrak was responsible for the power outage, NY1 reported.
NJ Transit trains are being re-routed and those in and out of the Hoboken Terminal are running on 10-15 minutes delay, officials said.
Midtown Direct trains delayed due to the incident are being routed to/from Hoboken Terminal.
PATH trains, New Jersey Transit bus and private carrier bus are cross honoring all rail tickets/passes.
