UPPER WEST SIDE — Police shattered reports that the Upper West Side Apple store might have been the victim of a drive-by shooting Tuesday.

Shopping blog Racked reported Sunday that a Memorial Day weekend attack left two small holes in the store's massive front glass window.

Some Upper West Siders suspected that bullets had pierced the windows, which were damaged, but not destroyed, in the incident, Racked reported.

Police told DNAinfo Tuesday that there was no shooting at the store, at 1981 Broadway near West 67th Street.

"If there was a shooting, we would have known about it," a police source said.

An NYPD spokeswoman told neighborhood blog West Side Rag that the window was broken "with an unknown object."

The Upper West Side Apple store made headlines recently when two men filed a racial discrimination lawsuit alleging they were booted from the tech temple because they're black.
