MANHATTAN — A 911 caller told police a bomb had been left in the Hell's Kitchen building which houses the New York Daily News and Associated Press Tuesday.

According to a note sent to workers by management of the building, at 450 West 33rd St., on Tuesday morning no evacuations had been ordered.

"We are in constant contact with the NYPD," the note said.

"At this time, we have not been asked to evacuate the premises. Please remain calm."

The threat said the bomb had been placed on the 10th and 11th floors of the building, at 10th Avenue.

Those floors do not house news operations of either the News or the Associated Press.
