UPPER EAST SIDE - Cops are seeking the public's help in catching a bespectacled burglar wanted for a series of break-ins on the Upper East Side.

The prowler, seen in this sketch, has hit six times since April 4, swiping jewelry and electronics after waltzing into unlocked apartments.

In one bizarre case, the suspect, described as 6-foot-2 and 40 to 45 years old, left a creepy memento behind - a flower, according to an ABC news report.

The burglar, who cops dubbed the Upper East Side Creeper according to ABC, has struck buildings from the 60s to the 80s, getting in to the buildings through service entrances.

His most recent break-in, on April 19, was at 145 East 82nd St.

He was seen wearing a dark jacket with a white emblem on the chest and gold-rimmed glasses.

Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
