MIDTOWN — An unidentified woman had her leg caught between a southbound 4-train and the platform at Grand Central Terminal during rush hour Thursday morning.

The train was stationary when the woman's leg slipped between the train and the platform edge.  Witnesses at the scene said the woman was freed before the train moved again.

Transit officials said the woman didn't appear seriously injured.

The woman was taken to Bellevue Hospital shortly before 9 a.m., an MTA spokesman said.

Service was temporarily suspended but resumed once the woman was rescued, according to officials.
