MANHATTAN – A man allegedly caught having sex while his grandmother's dead body was crammed inside a closet in the same room was charged with her murder Thursday night, police said.

Relatives searching for missing Cora Davis, 76, walked in on Larry Davis, 22, having sex in his grandmother's bed in the Wagner Houses apartment, on East 124th Street, last month.

They found Cora Davis' body buried under a pile of clothes in the closet. An autopsy revealed she'd died of blunt impact to the neck and spinal cord, the Daily News reported.

The woman he was with, Nakeema Craig, 20, told the Daily News that she'd met the younger Davis only a few days earlier and had no idea about the body in the closet.

Davis left the building shortly after the relatives arrived. He was arrested just before midnight Friday and charged with murder and criminal contempt, police said.
