MANHATTAN — A fire in an Upper East Side apartment building is being investigated after breaking out early Friday, an FDNY official said.

It started at 2.46 a.m. on the  the third floor of a five-story building on 93rd Street, near Second Avenue.

The fire was under control by 3 a.m., according to the FDNY. There were no injuries reported.
