MANHATTAN — A fire broke out on the ground floor of an 11-story residential and office building on Fulton Street Downtown Tuesday night.

Firefighters received a call about a fire on the first floor of 139 Fulton Street at Broadway shortly after 9 p.m., a fire department spokesman said.

The building houses a Dunkin Donuts and a clothing store Designer Promise on the first floor, and is directly in front of an entrance to the Fulton Street subway hub. No one was injured in the fire.

Crews had the fire under control by 9:45 p.m, fire press said.
