MANHATTAN — Mamma Mia!

Mayor Michael Bloomberg swung into Saturday's Inner Circle Dinner from the rafters, dressed as Spider-Man in a parody of the troubled Broadway play.

But, just like the real-life musical "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark," Hizzoner's high-flying performance was quickly hit by technical snafus. The mayor was left dangling from a wire dressed in a Spider-Man like outfit except with "NYC" emblazoned on his chest.

Bloomberg exited stage left only to return as the star of another Broadway favorite. Dressed in '70s bell bottoms, a wig and six inch silver heels, the mayor and the Inner Circle cast performed their version of "Mamma Mia."

"Mama Mia's" was altered to tell the tale of Bloomberg's arrival in New York City, rather than the original plot that revolved around a young bride's quest to find her father.

Through it all, Bloomberg poked fun at the troubles that have plagued his third term as mayor.

"You'll have eight great years," a cast member said predicting Bloomberg's future as mayor.

"What if I get a third term?" Bloomberg asked.

"Like I said..." the cast member answered flatly.
