EAST VILLAGE — The Son of God has returned — and He's hanging out on Second Avenue.

A creative vandal recently placed an image of Jesus over an advertisement inside a phone booth at the corner of East 7th Street.

The cutout is juxtaposed with a poster for the 2009 film "Confessions of a Shopaholic," and shows an image of the Messiah carrying shopping bags.

The piece looks similar to the work of Poster Boy, the anonymous street artist who gained attention for manipulating ads in subway stations.
