MANHATTAN — Prince is in hot water with his former lawyers, according to the New York Daily News.

The pop legend, whose real name is Prince Rogers Nelson, reportedly owes Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler, a Manhattan law firm, more than $700,000 in legal fees from his divorce and other cases, the paper reported.

The lawsuit says that Prince only paid $125,000 and still owes $709,687.04, which has been "repeatedly but unsuccessfully" requested from him, according to the paper.

Calls for comment to the firm and to Prince's Paisley Park Enterprises were not immediately returned.
