MANHATTAN — Upper East Side parenting guru Rosie Pope will soon bring her teachings to a national audience, as the star of the Bravo reality series "Pregnant in Heels."
The Bravo network, whose "Real Housewives" series provides an ongoing demonstration of irresponsible parenting, will premiere a reality TV show about the London-born maternity wear designer and life-coach for mothers to-be on April 5, 2011, according to the show's website.
Pope owns the high-end Rosie Pope Maternity boutique on Madison Avenue near East 91st Street and recently launched the Mom Prep teaching center for new and expecting moms a few blocks away.
The self-titled "maternity concierge" first came to New York as a model and then won a Presidential Scholarship to study neuroscience at Columbia University, according to her Bravo biography.
The show will feature two clients per episode, focusing on "the most affluent — and hormonal — expectant mothers in the city," the show's website said.
