HARLEM — Police released a video Tuesday of two masked gunmen robbing a Harlem Subway sandwich shop last week.

Police said the men hit the shop at 301 Cathedral Parkway near Frederick Douglass Blvd. shortly after 10 p.m on Feb. 22.

In a security video released by the NYPD, the men storm the front door, brandishing a gun as they wave away a female customer and force her to kneel down, before forcing an employee to open the cash register.

They are both seen dressed in black from head to toe, including hiding their faces underneath black ski masks and black hooded sweatshirt, except for one man's gloves which appear to be white ski gloves.

As one man is seen pointing his gun at the employee, the other man grabs the money tray from inside the register and stuffs the entire thing in a black backpack with a New York Sports Club logo on the front.

Police described the men as standing roughly five feet ten inches tall and said they appear to be either white or Hispanic.

The men reportedly fled north on Frederick Douglass Boulevard. It was not immediately clear how much money they nabbed during the heist.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-8477 or text TIP577 to 274637 (CRIMES.)
