UPPER WEST SIDE — An anonymous Twitter user is unleashing a torrent of ticked-off tweets trashing the building management at an Upper West Side high-rise and warning real estate shoppers not to buy apartments there.

Someone using the Twitter name @30LincolnPlaza has targeted Milstein Properties, which manages the 32-floor 30 Lincoln Plaza at 30 West 63rd Street, accusing the company of ignoring tenant complaints.

A representative of Milstein Properties at the building on Wednesday declined to comment.

Painting themselves as an online revolutionary, @30LincolnPlaza says they want to "use the power of social media" to "bring the realities" of 30 Lincoln Plaza to the public.

A Jan. 29 post declares, "We won't give up until our voice makes a difference. mgmt shouldn't be able to do whatever they want @ 30 Lincoln Plaza"

The Twitter account, first reported on Curbed, catalogs "reasons not to live" at 30 Lincoln Plaza, such as thin walls, construction noise and slow elevators.

The account, which has 508 followers, features alleged first-person remarks from 30 Lincoln Plaza residents about renovations now under way at the building, such as "They worked on apt next to me 4 months it was terrible, hall filled w/ sheetrock dust & construction waste."

@30LincolnPlaza also personally targets the Milsteins, who are prominent real estate developers, and calls out the building's head manager by name, questioning his qualifications and linking to his profile on LinkedIn.

Residents interviewed outside the 560-unit building, built in 1979, said they were oblivious to the online war being waged against building management.

A resident named Ashley said that while construction noise from renovations in the building was "terrible," she didn't have any complaints about the management.

A woman who didn't want her name used said she and her husband had rented an apartment in the building for more than 25 years and considered the management "excellent."

"It's a well-run building with a really good staff," said the woman. "If you have a complaint, they take care of it right away."

It's not clear whether the irate tweeter lives in the building. One post says @30LincolnPlaza "doesn't want to disclose" whether they're a tenant in the building, then adds "but I experienced '09 & '10 in that building & I know a lot of residents."

@30LincolnPlaza has called on the media to take up their cause, but didn't respond to a tweet from DNAinfo.

This isn't the first time 30 Lincoln Plaza has been on the receiving end of tenant ire. Residents filed a lawsuit in 2009 after the building converted from rentals to condos. Tenants who bought units in the building said Milstein offered unfair discounts to other buyers.
