UPPER WEST SIDE — A small fire broke out at Harry's Burritos on the Upper West Side Wednesday morning

The blaze started at the 241 Columbus Ave. location of the burrito chain when grease in an air duct where workers were welding briefly ignited, fire officials said.

The duct caught fire about 9:30 a.m. before the Mexican restaurant was open for the day, Battalion Chief John Pellegrinelli said. The restaurant was empty except for a few men welding the duct.

The fire was quickly extinguished and caused no injuries and minor property damage, Pellegrinelli said.
