MIDTOWN — Forget pizza and pad thai. A new fine dining delivery-only restaurant is preparing to roll into Midtown, courtesy of veteran restaurateurs who've worked for the likes of David Bouley and Jean Georges.

"After too many disappointing delivery meals — too bland, too soggy and too slow — an idea was born," writes the team behind "Savory," which is set to debut in April.

The Savory team promises Midtown residents "high quality food that is designed to be delivered." While the full menu hasn't been posted, the kitchen will prepare "new American classics" including burgers and spaghetti, the site says.

In an ad posted by the company on Craigslist looking for a sous chef, which was first reported by food blog Eater, the team makes it clear that they're an ambitious bunch.

Among the qualities listed: "Obsessed with re-inventing the delivery dining experience to make it easier, more efficient and more enjoyable."
