Woman Killed in Hit-Run Near RFK-Triborough Bridge Updated February 4, 2011 11:55am

EAST HARLEM — A woman was killed early Friday during a hit-and-run crash on Second Avenue near the RFK-Triborough Bridge, police said.

Ilia Lopez, 58, of the Bronx, was walking east across Second Avenue near 121st Street at 4:08 a.m. when she was hit by a black sedan, which then fled the scene, police said.

Lopez was taken to Harlem Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, police said.

Police are still searching for the driver, they said.
