UPPER WEST SIDE — A nine-room luxury duplex at the legendary Hotel Des Artistes at 1 West 67th Street is on the market with a bibliophile's dream — a 2,500 volume library.
The library — housed in two-storey section of the apartment which is bigger than most Manhattanite's homes —features many first-edition and signed books in the collection, the Huffington Post reported.
The home is listed at $6.95 million.
Among other luxurious amenities are four bedrooms, four full bathrooms, an eat-in kitchen, a media room and a so-called "wine cave", according to the listing agents at Sotheby's International Realty.
Renowned architect George Mort Pollard designed and built the Hotel Des Artistes in 1916.
