MANHATTAN — Two people struck it rich by winning Tuesday's $355 million Mega Millions drawing, but neither of the lucky winners were New Yorkers.

The winners of the second biggest prize in lottery's history were announced on the Mega Millions website Wednesday. Neither of the jackpot winners are from New York, but a handful of Big Apple residents did draw five of the six numbers to receive cash prizes of $250,000.

Two lucky winners from Idaho and Washington will each get $177.5 million, after matching the winning numbers of 4, 8, 15, 25, 47 and the bonus number of 45.

New Yorkers, however, took 11 of the 67 prizes matching the first five numbers, earning them each a cool quarter million dollars.

Some of the winners may have been diehard fans of the old ABC series "Lost." Four of the Mega Million numbers- 4, 8, 15 and 42- were the same winning lottery numbers for one character on the show, the New York Daily News reported.

Over two million winners received prizes ranging from $2 to $250,000, according to the Mega Millions site.
