UPPER EAST SIDE — Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a man they said robbed an Upper East Side bank Friday afternoon.

At about 1:40 p.m., the suspect passed a note demanding money to a teller at a Capital One Bank at 1512 Second Ave., then fled as soon as the teller gave him an undetermined amount of cash, police said.

The man, caught on camera, is believed to be 45 to 50 years old, 200 pounds and 5-feet-8-inches or 5-feet-10 inches tall. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black jacket and black hat, police said.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
