Small Fire Breaks Out at Apartment on Central Park West

UPPER WEST SIDE —  A small fire broke out at a Central Park West apartment Monday morning.

Fire officials said there were no injuries at the second floor apartment at 293 Central Park West between 89th and 90th Streets.

The call came in at 10:48 a.m., fire officials said.  The cause was under investigation.

Firefighters had to divert traffic around the block as they fought the blaze.
