MANHATTAN — More than a year after Kanye West dissed Taylor Swift at the MTV Video Music Awards, he did it again at a surprise show on the Lower East Side early Wednesday morning, according to reports.
West indicated that Swift used the incident to maximize her public profile.
"Taylor never came to my defense at any interview — and rode the waves and rode it and rode it," West, 33, said to a Bowery Ballroom audience around 1 a.m. Wednesday, reported US Weekly.
West's feud with Swift, 20, started in September 2009 when the rapper took the microphone from the young singer while she was accepting a VMA for "Best Female Video."
"Yo Taylor, I'm really happy for you," West had said. "But Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time."
West's antics on Wednesday were inexplicable, as the two publicly made up at this year's VMA's.
