TRIBECA — A 60-year-old driver waiting at a set of TriBeCa street lights had a hot cup of coffee thrown at him by an irate man driving another car, police said.

The man told police he was waiting for the light to turn at Vesey and West streets about 3 p.m. on Sept. 30 when a gray car pulled up alongside him, police said.

"Take this you fuckin' cross," the man reportedly yelled as he threw the cup of coffee.

It was unclear exactly what he was referring to.

The victim said his arm was burned, but police said he had no visible injuries. The victim wrote down the other driver’s license plate number and gave it to police, according to the report.
