MANHATTAN — Caroline Giuliani, daughter of former Mayor Rudy Giuliani, must serve one day of community service to get her shoplifting case dismissed in six months, prosecutors said Tuesday.

Giuliani, 21, was ticketed for swiping $100.50 worth of beauty products from the East 86th Street Sephora on Aug. 4, and was offered the same deal most first-time shoplifting offenders are handed, prosecutors said.

The Harvard undergraduate must "stay out of trouble and avoid rearrest" for six months in addition to the community service, the judge told her Monday.

A Manhattan District Attorney's office spokesperson said Giuliani's disposition was "standard" for accused offenders in her situation.

"We basically just followed our office's guidelines for a first time shoplifting offense," said Erin Duggan, a DA spokesperson.

Giuliani is finishing up her last year as a film and theater major at the Ivy League institution.

It was not yet determined where she will conduct her community service.

Giuliani refused to comment when she left the courthouse with her mother, Donna Hanover, and her attorney at her side.
