UPPER WEST SIDE — Models won't have to cross picket lines to reach the catwalk at Fashion Week, the Wall Street Journal reported Friday.

A potential dispute between Fashion Week organizers and the union that provides much of the labor for Lincoln Center, the new home of Fashion Week, has been resolved, according to the Journal.

Fashion Week producers IMG have agreed to use union labor.

The union and IMG said in a joint statement to DNAinfo that they had reached an agreement that will run through February 2013.

"The agreement...will ensure IMG Fashion's ability to present this premier event using world class talent from the New York theatrical industry," the statement said.

The union, Local One of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, had raised concerns about the use of non-union labor during Fashion Week, scheduled to run from Sept. 9 through Sept. 16.

The union's contract only calls for union labor to be used at other sites at Lincoln Center, but not at Damrosch Park, at the southwest corner of the Lincoln Center Plaza, according to the Journal.

However, Union officials were able to convince ING to use union labor at all Fashion Week venues in Lincoln Center.
