EAST VILLAGE — Star chef Daniel Boulud is planninng to take the success of his popular Bowery restaurant to the street — literally.

DBGB, Boulud’s meat-lovers’ mecca near the corner of East Houston Street, got the go-ahead from Community Board 3 Monday night to add a sidewalk café to the popular year-old restaurant.

The outdoor annex will include 15 tables with seating for 30 people on the formerly gritty stretch, a representative for the restaurant informed the board Monday.

The al fresco area will be open from lunch till 11 p.m. on weeekdays, till midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, and till 10 p.m. on Sundays, the rep added.

Boulud himself did not attend the meeting, as he is currently traveling abroad for a family vacation, his spokeswoman said.

Members of Board 3's notoriously shrewd State Liquor Authority/Department of Consumer Affairs Committee were more than willing to endorse the restaurant's request.

"I would be happy to approve this, and with all respect to Daniel Boulud — amen," cracked committee member Ariel Palitz at the meeting.

The Department Consumer will hold a public hearing on the application Wednesday at 2 p.m., 66 John St., 11th floor.
