MANHATTAN — A Harlem woman has been charged with stabbing a man to death in her home Friday night after smoking crack, police said.

Krystal Parrish, 34, allegedly killed Robert Davis, 47, in a third-floor apartment on West 141th Street after they smoked crack and started having sex.

Police responded to a 911 call just after 7 p.m. and found Parrish covered in blood. In a hallway, paramedics were working on Davis, who had been stabbed several times in the torso. They took him to Harlem Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Parrish told police that she and Davis had been drinking and smoking crack when he asked to have sex, according to a complaint filed by the Manhattan District Attorney's Office. Parrish agreed, and accepted $20 in return. But when Davis got on top of her, she accused him of trying to rape her. She told police she reached for a knife and started stabbing him.

Davis was still alive when Parrish called 911, according to the complaint. He made it as far as the door, then fell. Parrish told police that she dragged him by his shirt and left him near the garbage.
