MANHATTAN — The Cipriani cook who shoved a woman into a speeding R train had downed so many beers he had no memory of his near fatal actions, he told the New York Post.

Jose Rojas, 25, a pasta maker from the Bronx, told the paper he was so drunk everything about Wednesday was hazy.

He doesn't recall walking up to the victim, Ute Linhart, 39, and pushing her into an oncoming train on 23rd Street, he said in an interview at the Manhattan House of Corrections.

Upon hearing what he had done to the victim, who suffered broken bones and a punctured lung after being slammed into the side of the train, Rojas exclaimed "Oh my God, my life is over."

"Please understand what I'm trying to tell you," he said. "All I remember is waking up in the hospital handcuffed."

Rojas faces charges of attempted murder and assault.
