Manhattan - Sephora has no plans to make-up with Rudy Giuliani's daughter.
Officials at the cosmetics chain told prosecutors they plan to press charges against the ex-Mayor's daughter for shoplifting from an Upper East Side store, police told the Daily News.
The decision came after criticism that the chain was refusing to cooperate in the case, thereby giving a break to the alleged thief.
"They realized it was a mistake for a store to hedge the way they did," a police source told the News.
Caroline Giuliani, 20, a Harvard senior, is accused of stealing $150 worth of products from the East 86th Street store on Wednesday.
Sephora's initial decision not to prosecute surprised lawyers.
"The one thing that is unusal is that the store did not press charges," said Pat Bath, a spokeswoman for the Legal Aid Society.
Though Caroline and her dad are keeping quiet, her brother, Andrew, reiterated his support for his sister Friday.
"I have full faith in her," he told the News.
"She is an extremely hard worker and extremely intelligent. I think in the coming weeks and months, people will see it."
As a first time offender, Giuliani faces a fine and community service if found guilty.
