UPPER EAST SIDE — Things are about to get UGG-ly on Madison Avenue — in a good way.

UGG, the funky Australian boot and accessory company credited with making sheepskin winter boots popular, will open a flagship store at 600 Madison Avenue this fall, Women's Wear Daily reported.

The new 2,600-square-foot store will open up at East 58th Street and Madison Avenue.

In addition to its popular line of sheepskin boots, the store will feature an exclusive line of cable-knit sweaters sold only in stores, NBC New York reported.

Manhattanites sporting UGGs through the slushy winter drove business to dry cleaners on the Upper West Side who charged up to $50 for boot cleanings.

The new store is expected to open October 28, NBC reported.
