FINANCIAL DISTRICT — Expectant mother Kelly Xion was waiting for a train to Brooklyn Friday at the Bowling Green subway stop — but her son arrived first.

Xion’s contractions reportedly started shortly before 4 p.m. while she was standing on the Brooklyn-bound 4 and 5 platform of the Bowling Green subway stop.

A pair of EMTs, Thomas Loggins, 27, and Jerry Chatelaim, 25, rushed to the scene and found the baby was already crowning, so they delivered him in minutes as a crowd of tourists watched on, according to published reports.

"It felt really good bringing a healthy baby into the world," Loggins told the New York Post.

Mother and baby were taken to New York Downtown Hospital, where they were recovering.
