MIDTOWN EAST — Victoria's latest secret is not the kind that makes you want to buy lingerie.

The store's 58th Street location became the most recent in a string of Manhattan chains to be treated for bedbugs Wednesday, NY1 reported.

The store, on East 58th Street and Lexington Avenue, closed for extermination Wednesday morning and reopened later that day, a Victoria's Secret spokeswoman told the network.

The infestation was confined to a small section of the store, and all of the clothing from the affected area was destroyed, the spokeswoman told NY1.

Employees at the 58th Street location said Friday that they were "not at liberty to discuss" the issue. However one saleswoman acknowledged that she had not even been informed of the infestation.

A Victoria's Secret spokeswoman told NY1 that only a small section of the two-story 58th Street store had been infested.
