CHELSEA — A Brooklyn bandit who yanked necklaces off of four women, including an 83 year-old, in Chelsea was arrested on Wednesday, police said.

George Perez, 47, was charged with robbery and grand larceny over a necklace-snatching spree that started on the morning of June 24 when he stole a necklace from a 42-year-old woman on W. 17th Street, between Ninth and Tenth avenues, police said.

He continued by snatching a chain from a 64-year-old woman in the same area on July 3, police said. He stole from an 83-year-old woman on July 10 in the lobbyy of her W. 28th Street building.

On July 12, he robbed a 62-year-old in front of the entrance of 426 W. 27th St. at 1:15 p.m.
