UPPER WEST SIDE — Cyndi Lauper will soon be showing off the true colors of the Upper West Side when the curtain goes up on her own reality show, Lauper told the Daily News.

The 80s pop star said the show will chronicle the day-to-day lives of her life with actor-husband David Thornton and their 12-year-old son, Declyn.

That means Upper West Siders can expect to see cameras outside Lauper’s longtime home, the Apthorp building at Broadway and West 79th Street.

Lauper told the News that the show will focus on "the comedy of our lives.”

The date of the premiere — and where on the TV dial the show will be broadcast — is yet to be announced.

Lauper is known for a string of '80's hits including “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun,” “Time After Time,” “She Bop,” and “True Colors.”

This isn’t Lauper’s first foray into reality TV. She appeared this year on “Celebrity Apprentice.” Mark Burnett, producer of “Celebrity Apprentice” and “Survivor” will produce Lauper’s new show.

Lauper, who turned 57 on June 22, was born in Queens. Earlier this year she announced plans to open New York’s first permanent housing for homeless lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender youth in Harlem.

Lauper released a new album this week called Memphis Blues.

The Upper West Side had a brush with reality show infamy late last year when “Jon & Kate Plus 8” star Jon Gosselin’s apartment on West 72nd Street was mysteriously trashed.
