Concerts in the Heights (CITH), a monthly chamber music series in Washington Heights, presents a night of classical music at Fort Washington Collegiate Church on Thursday night.

The evening’s line up includes three pieces: Poulenc: Clarinet Sonata, a Karl Kramer: Quintet world premier and a Vaughan-Williams Quintet from 1898.

The chamber series was created to “to enable Washington Heights residents to enjoy music for small ensembles in an appropriately intimate setting, and to expose neighborhood residents, many of whom do not have access to chamber music, to quality performances, helping to develop new audiences for the art form,” according to the group.

Performers will include Monica Bauchwitz, violin; Miho Zaitsu, cello; Alexander Fiterstein, clarinet; Karl Kramer, horn; and Ieva Jokubaviciute, piano. Concert goers receive a 10% discount off next purchase at Cabrini Wines.
