MANHATTAN — Mary-Kate Olsen attended an after party Monday night for her sister's boyfriend's new movie, in which he plays a drug-smuggling Hassidic Jew.
The boyfriend, Justin Bartha, who was in "The Hangover" and the Broadway play "Lend Me a Tenor," will appear opposite Jesse Eisenberg in the new film about Jewish drug mules.
Inspired by actual events, "Holly Rollers" tells the story of Sam Gold (Eisenberg) and Yosef Zimmerman, nice Jewish boys from Brooklyn who are recruited to smuggle ecstasy into the U.S, according to the film's website.
Actor Harvey Keitel was also at the after party to support his daughter Stella Keitel, who acted in the film. Another "Holly Roller," rapper Q-tip, attended the event as well.
Meanwhile, the International Center of Photography held its annual Infinity Awards at Chelsea Piers. The event to bring public attention to outstanding achievements in photography featured newswomen Christiane Amanpour and the "Today Show's" Ann Curry.
And "Desperate Housewives" star Teri Hatcher promoted her upcoming website, GetHatched.com, at the Upper East Side restaurant Rouge Tomate.
The actress will use the site to blog about "Motherhood. Career. Relationships. Friendships," according to DisneyFamily.com
