MANHATTAN — Poison frontman and reality TV star Bret Michaels, 47, appears to be improving after suffering a brain hemorrhage last week, according to various news outlets.

Michaels, the ’80s glam rock icon and star of the current season of Donald Trump’s “Celebrity Apprentice,” has been in critical condition since being rushed to the hospital Thursday night after a severe headache, according to his rep.

As of Monday, Michaels remained in intensive care under 24-hour surveillance, according to a note on his Facebook page. And Monday’s news featured Trump telling TMZ.com that Michaels was in “big, big trouble and the prognosis is not great.”

Michaels father, Wally Sychak, however, reported on Tuesday that the rocker’s condition was improving. Sychak told “Extra” that he had spoken to his ailing son.

Of his conversation with Michaels, Sychak said, “He sounded a little slow, but fine. He was talking, not as cheerful as he usually is. But I guess he is under sedation. But he understood what he was saying and knew me. Everything seemed good that way.

“They say he's moving his arms and hands. The best as they could expect at this time," his father told "Extra."

Doctors are still trying to determine the source of the bleeding, but Michaels condition has been upgraded from critical to stable, according to Radaronline.com.
