FINANCIAL DISTRICT — City eatery Energy Kitchen is hoping to ease your tax burden by providing a free, healthy lunch on Thursday, April 15.
The chain is offering the free meal at each of its eight city locations. Each lunch, designed to decrease the stress of tax day, will be less than 500 Calories and include a healthy beverage sample.
"Expect a line and plan ahead," said Steven Arcila, who works as a cashier at their downtown location at Nassau and John Street. "We are all coming into work early to get ready for the crazy day."
The promotion includes bison wraps and buffalo burgers among other choices, depending on availability.
