MANHATTAN — Elementary school students wanting to get their physics lesson from a ’90s cult icon should head for NoHo this weekend, as Sonic Youth front man Thurston Moore will be giving a lecture on — what else? — noise.

The event, part of gallery Partners & Spade’s “Avant Garde Preschool” series, will feature Moore’s “Dissertation on White Noise” for kids ages eight to 11.

The cost of the lecture is $30 per child, with the proceeds going to benefit the arts program at P.S. 126 on the Lower East Side, according to Paper Magazine.

The event will take place on Sunday, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at Partners & Spade, 40 Great Jones St.
